Increase Computer Startup Speed Editing The Registry

Make Your Computer Run Faster

>You can Edit the registry in order to increase your computer startup Speed.Computers may take a long time in the startup.This is because of start of unwanted files and programs in the startup.You can clear the registry in order make your computer a little faster in startup.This can be done with the help of regedit.First you need to go to regedit from Run in startup and you need the change the registry value but be sure to keep the backup of registry before you change any value.Using these steps you can edit your registry to make your computer a bit faster at startup.
  • First click on start and run and type Regedit and enter(Registry editing page will appear)
  • click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  • click on software
  • click on microsoft
  • click on windows
  • click on current version
  • click on run
  • delete everything except default.(this will delete startup for programs to make your pc fast at start up)
Repeat the same process again with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

  • First click on start and run and type Regedit and enter(Registry editing page will appear)
  • click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  • click on software
  • click on microsoft
  • click on windows
  • click on current version
  • delete everything leaving default

  • This will remove programs from startup and makes your computer faster at Startup
    You also need to be careful not to misuse any other registry values until you dont know how to use it properly.And be sure to keep backup of registry before you use it.
